Ed.D. in School Psychology

Course Description

The NLU School Psychology program offers a NASP-Approved Doctoral Degree (Ed.D.) where students will learn evidence-based, functional assessment and intervention practices in an ecological and preventive/early intervention focus. It is taught utilizing the scientist-practitioner model and prepares you for a career as a psychologist in a school or other educational setting; to engage in research; or to pursue clinical work in schools or other clinical settings. After completing your course of study, you may be eligible to apply for an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) endorsed for school support and school psychologist.
