Course Description

Accountants are in high demand. From 2008-2018, a 22% increase in accounting employment positions is projected. Recent graduates from Michigan Tech’s accounting program have accepted positions with Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, Grant Thornton, Nestle Corporation, Caterpillar, and General Motors. Starting salaries for accounting graduates with master’s degrees are 10-20% higher than those with only undergraduate degrees according to the AICPA. Michigan Tech’s program provides a path to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
