Electrical Engineering focuses on the design and development of technology that controls and manages electrons and photons, or simply, electricity and light. EE's develop careers in many different industries from telecommunications and electronics to aerospace and automotive as well as manufacturing of all kinds. Electrical engineers are involved in power generation and distribution and nearly anything that uses electricity or light such as power companies and laser technology companies. They are also heavily employed by the US government and can be found in major government research labs, NASA and NOAA. A college degree in electrical engineerin gcan open up the door to a technical career in almost any industry.
