Kettering’s Applied Biology program places a strong focus on the molecular and cellular levels. It is intellectually rigorous, heavily lab oriented, and includes significant hands-on experience gained from laboratory classes, undergraduate research, and participation in the required cooperative education program. Unlike other biology programs, Kettering's Applied Biology program requires students to obtain a strong science background by taking courses in math, chemistry, and physics. They take calculus I & II, two biostatistics courses, and an introductory physics course with lab.
