The Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering (BS IE) degree program is a four-year engineering program that will prepare our students in the full range of intermediate and advanced industrial engineering skills. The program features a unique concentration system that allows students to obtain a BS IE and to specialize in areas such as Economic and Financial Systems, Operations Research, Statistics with Quality, Supply Chain Engineering and General Industrial Engineering. This blend produces the flexibility that is inherent in the field of industrial and systems engineering, and that affords BS IE graduates a wide array of career options. Each of the concentrations, except General, has depth and breadth requirements. The breadth requirements ensure that you receive a broad industrial engineering education by taking courses in other concentrations. The depth requirements allow you to achieve in-depth knowledge in one of the areas.
