Computing Science is concerned with the programming of computers. The programming language used depends on the application and the hardware used. A major application area is the Internet, which makes use of distributed personal computers, all in communication with each other. In this course a number of computing languages are introduced and the operation of computing systems is considered with particular emphasis on the Internet. In addition, professional skills are also developed.
