B.S. in Engineering Technology The Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology (ET) will prepare you for an exciting career in a variety of design, production, automation, quality, and application-related positions in industry. The ET program been accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET, Inc., www.abet.org, the recognized accreditor of college and university programs in applied science, computing, engineering, and technology. With four distinct concentrations leading to different career paths (Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, and Biomedical Engineering Technology), the ET program clearly distinguishes itself from traditional engineering programs in the following ways: It forms the bridge between the designer and the technical workforce. It places emphasis on the application of theory for solving real-life problems. Its courses are fully integrated with training and laboratory hands-on experience. Faculty members with extensive industrial experience have strong collaboration with industrial partners.
