This course replaces the HNC Health Care previously delivered by the college. It is the qualification recognised by local NHS employers and the Universities. The course combines theory and skills work to best equip you for employment or higher education. There is a workplace placement giving you essential practice experience.

This new HNC enables you to progress onto University degree programmes such as nursing or physiotherapy or to NHS employment (clinical framework 3) or care worker positions.
