About Us

West London College (WLC) is an independent college of further and higher education, located in the Mayfair district of Central London and has a student body of 1,500 full time students. The College is an Associate Campus of Heriot-Watt University and specializes in the tuition of degree programmes. It is part of the British Study Centres Group of Colleges which includes British Study Centres School of English, and Hove College. The College has its roots in correspondence schooling from the 1930s onwards and took its present form in 1977. Since 1997 it has occupied the six-floor building of Parliament House, opposite Selfridges in Oxford Street and in 2004 took over the former training facility of Marks and Spencer in Manchester Street, called Hannah House which the College occupies with its sister school, British Study Centres School of English. Hostel accommodation is provided for students in the Bayswater and Notting Hill areas of central London.
