This specialisation focuses on the quantitative skills necessary to write and operate computer models necessary to predict future environmental change, to investigate human impacts on natural ecosystems, and how to manage and mitigate those impacts. This specialisation is for students who want to be able to model dynamics of estuaries, lakes, rivers and coastlines, waves and ocean currents, and predict sediment movement on the continental shelf and estuaries; as well as to understand principles of environmental modelling.
