This includes knowledge of the physiological response of the body when taking part in sports and using sporting equipment. This course is run by the Design, Manufacture & Engineering Management with significant input from other specialist departments. You’ll develop skills in aesthetics and graphic communication alongside those in sports science, materials and manufacturing. Work placement We encourage our students to pursue work placements during the course. Students have undertaken placements at sports companies including Berghaus and Adidas. These normally take place in the summer between Years 3 and 4 but can also be up to one year.
