We'll teach you the theory and analytical techniques you need to understand contemporary open economies and how internationally integrated financial markets work. You choose an area of specialisation. There are computer practicals, lectures, seminars, surgeries and workshops. You're assessed on essays, project work and exams. The dissertation gives you the chance to conduct your own research. We teach the course with colleagues from the Sheffield University Management School, one of only a handful of business schools in the world to be awarded the prestigious Triple Crown accreditation.

Our graduates are financial experts and economists. They work for financial services and consultancy firms, government departments and international organisations like the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
