You'll learn how to control traditional engineering systems and how to apply your knowledge to systems like biological processes, economic systems and the environment. If you don't have the usual scientific or mathematical background for an engineering degree, a foundation year is for you. After successfully completing the foundation, which has modules in chemistry, mathematics and physics, you'll proceed to the three-year BEng degree.
