You'll study industrial management alongside mechanical engineering, with modules covering essential management techniques in areas such as marketing, business planning and enterprise. Our core syllabus covers the fundamentals of mechanical engineering, mathematics and management. Modules range from applied dynamics, fluid mechanics and thermodynamics to the mechanical behaviour of materials and innovation management. Your final semester includes an individual project that brings together both technical and management issues.

Our graduates have gone on to careers in manufacturing, transport, power generation or engineering consultancies. Many work with prestigious companies such as Rolls-Royce, Airbus, Atkins, Siemens, Arup, Jaguar Land Rover, Interfleet Technology, Network Rail and Transport for London.
