Course Description

This four-year qualifying law degree combines the study of law with the continued development of your existing French language skills. In the years you spend in Sheffield, you'll study two thirds law and one third language. In your second year, to prepare for your year abroad, you study a module on the law and legal system of France, taught, studied and examined in French. You spend your third year abroad studying in the law faculty of one of our partner universities in France or Belgium or Switzerland, developing both your legal knowledge and language skills. On returning to Sheffield for your fourth and final year, you complete your study of the foundational law modules and choose from a wide range of optional subjects.
