The LLB Law course is our core qualifying law degree. It introduces you to all the subjects you need to develop a critical understanding of modern English law. You'll learn how the law works in 21st-century society and how it changes and develops. You may choose to spend an additional year studying (in English) at a partner university overseas. Our study abroad scheme is the largest of its kind in the UK and over a third of our law students choose to spend a year abroad.

Many of our students enter the legal profession, either as barristers or solicitors. For those planning to become solicitors, we offer an in-house Legal Practice Course. Our graduates include judges, barristers and even two Lord Justices of Appeal.
