BSc(Information Technology Management For Business)

Course Description

This degree will help you develop a sophisticated blend of technical, business, interpersonal and project skills, highly sought after in the IT sector. You'll be carrying out practical work in a business environment, getting hands-on experience of developing software for real business clients. Unlike a traditional computer science degree, you don't need A Level Maths. The course includes more than theory: you'll be creating business plans, devising strategies and preparing profit and loss accounts. You'll combine this with technical skills in programming, databases and interface design. The course is approved by e-skills UK, advisors to the UK Government on IT employment matters. IT & Telecoms companies on the e-skills board (including Accenture, Cisco, HP, IBM UK and Microsoft) guarantee to interview all graduates of this degree who meet their minimum criteria for interview.
