Meng(Aerospace Engineering with a Year in North America)

Course Description

This course is the same as our MEng Aerospace Engineering, but you'll spend your third year studying mechanical engineering at a leading university in the USA or Canada. Our modules cover aero propulsion, aerodynamic design, aircraft dynamics and control, computational aerodynamics and engineering management. Your study includes some experience of flight instrumentation and an individual investigative project of your choice. This MEng provides all the academic requirements needed for Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.

Career outcomes

Well-qualified engineering graduates are in high demand. There are career opportunities at managerial and specialist technical levels, and in consultancy. Our graduates have gone on to work in aerospace design, aviation, transport, manufacturing, energy and power, and the armed forces. Some continue to further study or research. Employers include Airbus, BAE Systems, Rolls-Royce, Shell and Jaguar Land Rover.
