This course provides our students with the fundamental knowledge and experience of water engineering science and practice, including skills in environmental enhancement and protection. It covers underlying engineering principles such as fluid mechanics, hydraulics, hydrology and hydrogeology, so graduates leave equipped to work in areas such as sustainable urban development, and environmental management and are able to tackle problems such as flooding, groundwater pollution and urban water systems infrastructure design.
