The Bachelor of Science (Honours) program provides students with the opportunity to pursue an independent research project in an area of interest under the supervision of an academic staff member. Students will acquire skills which will enable them to work without close supervision in a research environment in industry or government, or to proceed to a research higher degree. The Animal and Veterinary Bioscience honours program offers students an opportunity to extend knowledge and skills acquired in the undergraduate program to a research context. Students will undertake coursework designed to further develop their research skills as well as a research project where they will apply these skills and contribute to the process of discovery in the field of animal and veterinary biosciences.
