Course Description

The Bachelor of Fine Arts/Bachelor of Advanced Science recognises that artists and scientists approach creativity, exploration and research in different but increasingly connected ways and perspectives; when working together they open up new ways of seeing, experiencing and interpreting the world around us. This dual-degree program enables students to complete a Major sequence from those available in the Bachelor of Science (Advanced) and complete a Bachelor of Fine Arts, where students can study a wide range of fine art, design and media art disciplines As a Bachelor of Fine Arts/Advanced Science student, you can choose from the following Fine Arts Majors: Painting Interactive Media Photography Printmaking Sculpture Installation & Performance Drawing Textiles Animation & Visual Effects Video Sound Image Graphics Media Spatial Design Object Design Jewellery Ceramics You can choose from the following Science Majors: Anatomy Bioinformatics Biology Biotechnology Chemistry Earth Science Ecology Food Science Genetics Geography Marine Science Materials Science Mathematics Microbiology Molecular & Cell Biology Neuroscience Pathology Pharmacology Physical Oceanography Physical Science Physiology Psychology Statistics Vision Science
