Collaboratively offered through our Department of Public Health and Health Sciences (PHHS) and the School of Management (SOM), the innovative Master of Science in Health Care Management looks to continue a strong growth of health care offerings by the University of Michigan-Flint. Students who graduate from this program will not only complete a master’s degree, but will also complete an SOM business certificate as well. RESPONDING TO HEALTH CARE NEEDS The demand for health care services is increasingly driven by an overall aging population. Our workforce must be responsive by adequately training our current and future leaders. Health care administrators and managers will use this degree to earn the management education necessary for professional success, personal advancement, and to support patient well-being.
