Course Description

The postgraduate taught programmes in International Human Rights Law are advanced courses of study which provide students with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the far-reaching impact of international law on international relations, with a special emphasis on human rights issues and their relevance to domestic law. Active research interests of staff ensure specifically tailored and distinctive modules, and delivery sometimes takes place with visiting speakers invited to give seminars on the programme.

Career prospects The School of Law includes amongst its alumni Judges of the Court of Appeal, the High Court and the County Courts, as well as distinguished figures in branches of the legal profession.
