This programme addresses issues of confidence and competence in the teaching of primary expressive arts. It provides the opportunity for you to engage in debate on the many factors influencing the nature and delivery of expressive arts in the primary school curriculum and extracurricular situations. This programme encompasses innovative teaching practice and theory in art and design, dance, drama and music. It demonstrates practical, classroom-friendly ways of integrating the arts and teacher-friendly ways of introducing the use of technology into expressive arts, putting the arts, as a learning medium, at the centre of the whole curriculum.
