In this programme you will gain industrial and financial knowledge as well as a range of specialist skills in computing, optimization and statistics. Programme structure This programme involves two taught semesters of compulsory and optional courses followed by your dissertation project. Many dissertation projects are carried out as part of an external placement in industry.

The skills you will learn are in demand by a vast range of organisations such as professional consultancy firms, big companies with operational research departments like airlines or telecommunications providers, smaller financial firms and the public sector. Recent graduates have joined Cap Gemini, British Airways, Orange, Barrie & Hibbert and HM Revenue & Customs.
