The LLM General degree enables students to pursue a programme of study specifically tailored to their individual interests. Applicants are encouraged to develop their own proposal for an individual Master of Laws degree, where they may combine modules from two or more of the Law School's LLM programme. The LLM General is offered over one year full-time, or two years part-time. Students undertake a range of compulsory and optional modules taught by the Law School. They may also, with the consent of the Course Director, choose modules worth up to 40 credits from other postgraduate courses offered by the University.
