This course offers a modular programme of study which normally leads to the award of Master of Engineering (MEng) in four years. It combines modules in physics, maths and computing with materials, thermal and electrical engineering. Students start by being based largely in the School of Physics and Astronomy in the first year transitioning to the School of Metallurgy and Materials in later years.
