Course Details

Postgraduate Certificate in Law (PGCertLaw)

Course Description

The Postgraduate Certificate in Law (PGCertLaw) is effectively half of an LLM or MLS. Students may opt for this if they have a limited amount of time or wish to do only a couple of particularly relevant courses for their employment. For many, the PGCertLaw acts as a stepping stone to the masters' degrees. If your grades are lower than the entry requirement to LLM or MLS you may be eligible to apply for the Postgraduate Certificate in Law instead. Students who achieve a B grade or higher in each course to the total of 60 points can apply to transfer to the LLM or MLS programmes on the condition that they meet all the other entry requirements.
