Master of Engineering Studies (MEngSt)

Course Description

The MEngSt allows students with academic engineering backgrounds to expand their existing theoretical and practical skills. It is flexible – you can study either full-time or part-time, undertake either a primarily coursework or research-focused programme, and choose from sixteen distinct specialisations. This programme ultimately requires an in-depth exploration of your chosen topic. You will demonstrate the high-quality critical thinking and problem-solving skills that are sought-after by employers worldwide, or consider this as foundation for further study. This is available as either a 120 or 180-point programme. The option you pursue is generally dependent on your prior study. The programme structure varies depending on your chosen specialisation – some offer flexibility and the chance to select courses tailored to your interests, while others have specific requirements. Some specialisations are only available as a 120-point option.
