The programme is a two semester, fulltime, research based masters qualification that demonstrates mastery of specialised knowledge and an ability to perform rigorous intellectual analysis, independent problem solving and conduct fundamental or applied research under supervision.
A student is required to submit a thesis proposal endorsed by the supervisor and the department postgraduate adviser, describing the timeline and methodology for achieving the identified goals within a maximum allowable time of one year.
