Course Description

Transportation is specifically concerned with transportation engineering - traffic engineering, transport and land use planning, highway engineering, pavement materials and management systems, road safety and crash investigation. This programme is focused on developing a sound understanding of fundamental concepts, techniques and issues. Research component The research component for this degree must be undertaken in a relevant area of Transportation Engineering. However, this can include a topic outside the areas covered on the programme. This research will be supervised by an academic staff member and will normally require some mentoring input or assistance from industry.
