The Institute of Applied Health Sciences pursues an agenda of excellence in health services research, with a strategy based upon applying current methodological strength to selected clinical topics. Current areas of strength include cohort studies, large-scale multicentre randomised trials, health economic research, health services research, and health technology assessment.
