The Graduate Certificate of Finance and Banking is available to students who wish to only complete the initial stage of the Master of Finance and Banking. The Graduate Certificate of Finance and Banking forms the first stage and is the entry award for the Master of Finance and Banking (MA-FINBAN). The Graduate Certificate provides the basic entry level for people seeking careers and qualifications in banking and finance. The first four units cover the areas of accounting priniciples, business modelling and analysis, economics and corporate financial management. To qualify for the award of Graduate Certificate of Finance and Banking (GC-FINBAN), students must complete 50 credit points comprising: Four core stage 1 units (12.5 credit points each) The four units can be completed over two semesters of part-time study or may be completed in one semester full-time. Students holding an international student visa are required to study full-time and on campus.
