This course allows you to study three modern languages together – including one that you start from scratch when you join us. It's a rare opportunity to combine intensive study across three different languages, and to explore the related literature, history, art and culture. Modern languages forms the major element of the degree, comprising 75% of the course, with the remaining 25% of the course devoted to exploring the visual arts.

Our graduates are highly employable and, in recent years, have entered many different roles including the Civil Service, accountancy, management, journalism, broadcasting, computing, higher education, teaching, and politics and diplomacy themselves. A substantial number of our graduates go on to further study, entering postgraduate courses at Royal Holloway or other prestigious institutions at home and abroad.
