The Biology Major delivers broad, interdisciplinary training which can be used as a foundation for a wide variety of life sciences careers. Students can choose to specialize in one of seven transcript-visible options (see below) or select from a wealth of coursework in areas such as evolution, organismal biology and physiology to meet their specific professional interests. Biology is a common home for pre-veterinary medicine, as well as pre-medicine and other health professions. A Biology minor is also available.
