This joint programme between the J.E. Cairnes School of Business and Economics, NUI Galway and the Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick has been developed to meet ongoing up-skilling and re-training needs of specific sectors of the regional economy (business, financial services, ICT etc.) while also building upon both Universities’ complementary teaching strengths and areas of expertise. This MSc programme is designed to develop, build and enhance finance and ICT capabilities and skills for people working in private and public sector contexts. While covering key future skills needs, the programme provides students with an opportunity to update, build and improve key strengths and capabilities, redirect their careers and/or consider how they can create their own employment or develop new routes to employment. This joint MSc takes advantage of the strategic alliance between NUI Galway and UL. Students will benefit from the combined areas of expertise from both these institutions in an area identied by the Government as providing key future skills for Ireland.
