Course Details

Bachelor of Information Technology (Games development)

Course Description

The computer-games industry is huge, and constantly evolving. However, this exciting field doesn't just need hardcore coders; it needs passionate and creative designers. If you're interested in designing rather than programming games, then our Games design minor is for you. You will develop the underlying principles of game design, learning about digital graphics and audio components, and how they come together to make an exciting game. A feature is the collaborative studio projects geared towards the design and creation of game levels and virtual worlds. This minor makes an ideal complement to an Information Technology (IT) major or to a specialisation in Fine Arts or Design.
