Course Description

The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Games and Emerging Media is a brand new interdisciplinary program. The program provides all majors with a foundation in programming, art, game design, UI/UX, game writing/storytelling, and the business of games. In addition, all students have the opportunity to take courses in the ethics of games, online culture, storytelling across media, artificial intelligence, and other relevant topics. All students also participate in a game studio course, which is set up like a mock game studio. All students are also required to take a capstone course, which helps students establish a portfolio of games and media work.
