Political Science provides a three-year BA program as well as a four-year Honors BA program. Students in an Honors BA program may choose to combine Political Science with a related discipline (History, English etc...). Students in other disciplines may find Political Science courses attractive as "options." While the choice of courses at King's is wide-ranging, students may wish to supplement these offerings by registering for other Political Science courses at U.W.O. or at one of the other affiliated colleges. Political Science at King’s is a vibrant community of students and award-winning faculty that offers opportunities to questions and debate policy choices and to examine alternative futures for our society. The King’s Political Science Department is committed to real student engagement and active learning. Our faculty supports an active student club and a debating society where vibrant discussion, contentious, timely public lectures, and visits to major political institutions take place frequently. We aim to help students develop in all aspects of life- intellectually, socially and personally.

Career opportunities arising from the study of Political Science are not limited to teaching and graduate work. The broad range of writing and problem-solving skills which they acquire prepares students for careers in such fields as business, law, journalism and public service.
