In this degree, which covers all areas of today's electronic world, you will investigate the technology, design and applications of microchips. Almost every electronic device used today - from computers to medical devices to children's toys - contains a microchip. Microelectronic engineers design these chips. You will be eligible for research work in the Queensland Microtechnology Facility and the Queensland Micro- and Nanotechnology Centre, both based at Griffith University. In your final year, you will complete an industry placement to enhance your skills.
