This Honours program has been designed to enable students who have demonstrated substantial ability at an undergraduate level to develop advanced levels of studio practice, supporting theory and an advanced level of research understanding. The program will allow students the flexibility to undertake Honours that best fits their area of study. The program offers the following research options: Studio research Internship research The research project is supervised and accompanied by the Honours research paper that similarly provides two options (research essay or research report). The research project and research paper are combined to form the dissertation.

This degree program will equip creative students for both careers as professional artists, designers and e-photojournalists as well as research higher studies and will find employment in the South East Queensland area linking with the Queensland Government's Smart State initiatives - nationally and internationally.
