Bachelor(Science In Ecology and Conservation Biology)

Course Description

You will develop the skills needed to take on ecological and environmental challenges and problems. You will learn about the ecology of populations, communities, ecosystems, and their interactions with the natural environment. In your first year, you will study courses in the biological, physical and social sciences. In your second and third years, you will focus on ecological and biological courses. You will learn through research projects and undertake a field course in your final year. If you choose to study at the Gold Coast campus, you can elect to undertake a minor study in wildlife management. If you study at Nathan you can elect to undertake a minor study in the area of aquatic ecology or physical systems. You will graduate with practical field skills and laboratory and analytical expertise.
