Students may not receive both the minor in geology and the minor in earth science. Eight credits of course work must be unique to the minor. For policies governing all minors, see the Academic Policies chapter of this catalog.

To receive this minor, students must successfully complete 18-19 credits with a minimum GPA of 2.00, distributed as follows: GEOL 101 - Introductory Geology I Credits: 4 GEOL 309 or BIOL 309 - Introduction to Oceanography Credits: 3 and one of the following: CLIM 111 - Introduction to the Fundamentals of Atmospheric Science Credits: 3 and CLIM 112 - Introduction to the Fundamentals of Atmospheric Science Lab Credits: 1 or GGS 309 - Meteorology and Climate Credits: 3
