With its emphasis on design and advanced manufacturing as well as renewable and sustainable energy, our mechanical engineering bachelor’s degree opens access to a wide array of projects for all of our engineering students. The new program is rapidly gaining support from the large number of companies and federal laboratories located in Northern Virginia including Micron Corporation, Mitre, and Technical Data Analysis. Since the launching of the program in 2014, it has enrolled more than 130 students, making it one of the most popular majors in the school.
