The MSc in Finance is delivered on a one-year, full-time basis over two semesters and a summer term. You start the year with an intensive first week concentrating on the core quantitative and research skills necessary to undertake the Masters. The first semester is common across all streams and provides a comprehensive foundation in finance through three modules which provide a blended learning approach of lectures, tutorials, laboratories, group work and individual projects. This programme is designed to prepare ambitious students for the challenges and rewarding career opportunities in the financial services industry. It also provides the necessary tools for academic research at the subject's frontier. You will be equipped for a career in financial markets and institutions, especially in investment banking and asset management, or in the risk management and corporate finance functions of corporations, as well as regulatory bodies and government offices dealing with the financial industry.
