Working as a paramedic is incredibly rewarding, exciting and challenging. You'll be the first to arrive at the scene of emergencies, providing urgent medical care to those who need it. As well as providing emergency care for critically ill pateints you will develop advanced assessment and decision making skills so you can decide the appropriate refferal method for less seriously unwell patients. You need a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills to excel in this field and this course will provide you with both. As well as being taught by lecturers with knowledge and experience of a diverse array of healthcare professions, your course will include workshops and talks from carers and other people who use the services provided in this profession.
