Duration: 3 years with a 5-week placement, or 4 years with a 30-week placement. On this captivating course you'll examine the interaction of biological systems and develop the skills required to apply biological concepts to the solution of practical problems. You’ll cover a number of areas within biological sciences, including translational genetics, biochemistry, ecology and human evolution, providing you with a comprehensive overview of the subject. One of the fantastic things about this course is that you're able to select modules in your final year to reflect your interests, essentially allowing you to tailor your course to suit your ambitions. This, coupled with your research project, means that you can focus on the field of biological science that you’re truly passionate about.

Your degree will be centred around developing the skills you need to work in professional practice, as well as equipping you with a variety of transferable skills that will give you a range of career options.
