Course Description

The Bachelor of Teaching / Bachelor of Exercise Science is a 320 credit point double degree, taken in 4 years full-time (or equivalent part-time) designed for students wishing to pursue a career in education with a specialisation in Physical Education, Personal Development or Health Education in a secondary setting in government, non-government or independent secondary schools. In ACT, Qld and Victoria a Bachelor of Exercise Science sequence and units are available and students have a choice of their major and minor sequences. Students are advised to select these sequences from main school teaching areas. There is also a major Education sequence.

Career outcomes

The course is designed for those intending to become teachers in secondary schools including Catholic, government and independent settings.
