This course offers two separate streams: one for those who have little or no knowledge of IT and one for IT professionals. Stream 1 provides an introduction to information technology for those uncertain of their capabilities in the discipline, or those who wish to gain only a very basic knowledge of the area. Stream 2 enables those with an IT or related degree to undertake a specialised sequence of subjects in an area not covered in their previous studies. This course allows IT professionals to update their knowledge and skills in an essential area of IT to assist in career development. This course also provides a basic foundation for those wanting to enter the IT industry and gain basic skills in IT.
