Our BMedSci is a three-year, full-time, interdisciplinary course. In the third year, you'll have the opportunity to go on placement in the NHS or another organisation. By the time you graduate, you'll understand what it's like to work in a health services environment. Whether you're interested in health care practice, management or research, the course has something to offer. There are five core pathways: Social Science of Health, Foundations of Medicine, Medical Humanities, Organisation and Practice of Care, and Research, Learning and Inquiry. You'll learn about human anatomy and physiology in health and disease. You'll also learn about modern health care - how it's organised, implemented and evaluated, the challenges faced by professionals and the values that underpin what they do.
